The NCSE workshop this year will be held at will be held at the University of Bath, in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, 4 West, Department of Mathematics, from 11th – 15th July.
The programme will have presentations by participants together with training workshops.
The presentations will be on Monday and Tuesday with workshops on Wednesday morning, all day Thursday and Friday morning.
Lorenzo Milazzo will give a half day training workshop on Wednesday morning entitled “Scientific Computing. An introduction to concepts, techniques, and tools for algorithm design”. Simon Wood will give the one day training workshop entitled, “Semi-parametric GLMs with mgcv: beyond GAMs” on Thursday. Janine Illlian will finish with a half day training workshop on Friday morning entitled “Spatial modelling with INLA”.

If you would like to attend any of the workshops please bring a laptop with you.
On Wednesday afternoon there will be an excursion.
The options are:
- a 6 mile Bath skyline walk. It is recommended that you bring walking shoes, a waterproof, sunscreen, water and a snack.
- Of course you might want to skip this and head instead for the Roman Baths .
- If you fancy something less taxing altogether then check out Thermae Bath Spa (need to book in advance).
The Meeting Dinner will be held in the Pump Room Restaurant, at 7.30pm.
Reasonably priced accommodation is available from beds@bath.
Food is available on campus and in town.
